Materials & Craftmanship

Each piece is handcrafted using high-quality materials including fine and sterling silver, responsibly sourced in small quantities from trusted suppliers locally and abroad. All designs made are one of a kind, using traditional silversmithing techniques and a slow, artistic approach.

This is not a commercial silver trading business. Every piece is created as a wearable art object, intended to celebrate craftsmanship, storytelling, and thoughtful design.

01

Who makes the jewelry?

All pieces are handcrafted by Amal Rafie, an independent jewelry artist and silversmith based in Bahrain. I work alone and personally create each piece from start to finish.

02

Are all the pieces one of a kind?

Yes, every piece is a one-off design. I do not mass-produce. Even if a design is requested again, it will never be exactly the same due to the handmade process.

03

Do you accept custom orders?

Yes! I accept custom requests depending on availability. While I can recreate the spirit of a previous design, no two pieces will ever be exactly alike. Each one is handmade and carries its own details, making it a rare, one-of-a-kind piece created just for you.

04

What materials do you use?

I primarily work with fine silver and sterling silver. All materials are sourced in small quantities and used with intention.

05

Where are the pieces made?

Each piece is handmade by me in my home studio in Bahrain.

06

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, International shipping is available! Shipping rates and delivery times will be shown at checkout.

07

Can I order a piece that is sold out?

Once a piece is sold, it’s not restocked. You’re welcome to contact me to discuss a custom version inspired by it!

08

How do I care for my jewelry?

Keep your piece dry and away from perfumes, lotions, and harsh chemicals. Store it in the pouch and box when not in use to prevent tarnish, and polish gently with the cloth that comes with it if needed.

09

Do you offer repairs?

Repairs are available for local customers in Bahrain, as international shipping logistics can make the process costly and complicated. If you're based abroad and your piece needs a minor fix, most jewelry shops should be able to handle it at an affordable price. That said, if your piece arrives damaged then please get in touch with me directly at amalrafie@hotmail.com or on instagram @amal_rafie

How do I clean my silver jewelry?

For light tarnish, gently polish your jewelry with the soft cloth provided to preserve its finish. For darker tarnish, you can try a simple home method: make a paste with baking soda and hot water, gently rub it on the silver with a soft cloth or toothbrush, then rinse and dry thoroughly. If you prefer, there are also liquid silver cleaners you can buy, just dip your jewelry in for a few seconds, rinse, and dry. I recommend the Connoisseur’s brand for safe, effective cleaning that makes your silver jewelry as good as new!
