Heart Utilities
Handcrafted in sterling silver, this one-of-a-kind necklace features hand-sculpted fine silver (99% silver) charms set with natural amethyst and blue spot jasper. At its center rests a heart form, from which a series of suspended charms hang. Each element is individually formed and assembled by hand, with intentional irregularities that honor the handmade process.
Heart Utilities is a Valentine piece inspired by Victorian chatelaines and devotional objects. The heart becomes a place of keeping, carrying what is most personal rather than ornamental. A key, a weeping eye, and an amethyst hang like talismans: an offering of trust, the permission to feel, and the tenderness of being known. Drawing from medieval utility objects and symbolic adornment.
Only one Heart Utilities exists. It was created as an exclusive Valentine design and will not be recreated in the same form. Care
To preserve the piece, wear and handle with care. Avoid contact with salt water, chlorinated water, perfumes, oils, and harsh chemicals. Remove the necklace before bathing, swimming, or exercising. Store it gently in its box or pouch to prevent tangling and tarnish. Fine silver and sterling silver may naturally deepen in tone over time and can be brightened again with the polishing cloth provided. With mindful handling, this piece will remain a personal relic to be cherished for years to come.
Measurements
The sterling silver chain measures 45 cm in length and is finished with a clasp at the end. The clasp can also be secured anywhere along the chain, allowing the necklace to be worn at a shorter length if desired.
