Handcrafted sterling silver fish necklace, set with natural turquoise and strung with turqouise beads.
 
This necklace is part of the Water Collection, the first in a three-part series inspired by the elements. 
Throughout history, the fish has symbolized transformation in many ancient cultures. Mystically, it represents adaptability and the flow of life’s energies. This piece encourages embracing life’s changes with ease, flowing like water through the ebbs and tides.
 
The turquoise stone symbolizes an all-seeing eye, offering protection and connection to forgotten realms; referencing the lost city of Atlantis and the idea of ancient wisdom beneath the sea. 
 
It also draws its inspiration from Bahamut: a vast, primordial fish from ancient Arab mythology. It is described in the twelfth-century work “Kharîdat al-‘Ajâ’ib wa farîdat al-gharâib”, to be so vast it helps support the universe, Bahamut offers another layer of ancient myth to this piece—a symbol of strength and mystical protection.
 
This necklace was created and finished by hand entirely, and only one of its kind.
